Comment: Transcatheter device closure and surgical repair are effective interventions with excellent midterm results for treating pmVSD in children. Transcatheter device closure has fewer incidences of myocardial injury, less blood transfused, faster recovery, shorter hospital stay, and lower medical expenses.
